Jamie Lewis
Managing Director, Jensten Underwriting
Jamie joined Jensten in 2020 as Managing Director of Bespoke Underwriting. A Chartered Insurer with over 30 years of industry experience, Jamie sits on the professional standards committee of the CII and is an active schools’ speaker, promoting the insurance sector. Jamie enjoys spending time with his two children.
Alistair Hardie
Group Chief Executive
Alistair is the Group Chief Executive and leads the vision and strategy for Jensten, driving the business to achieve its goals. Alistair has spent 35 years in the insurance sector, with a wealth of experience in personal and commercial lines activities, from both the manufacturer and distributor perspective.
Rob Palmer
Director of Distribution, Jensten Group
Rob joined the Jensten Group in 2020 and has over 15 years' experience in the insurance sector on both insurer and broker sides. Rob leads the distribution of Jensten products and its broker network, working closely with the Distribution and Underwriting Teams to develop the proposition for our partner brokers.
Simon Taylor
Wholesale Managing Director
Simon joined Jensten in 2019. He is passionate about delivering high quality solutions to brokers. With 30 years’ experience in the industry, Simon is well placed to understand and meet the challenges facing brokers and is focused on how we continually improve our services to our broking partners.
Kevan Aubrey
Sales & Distribution Director
Kevan leads the Sales and Distribution Team, with responsibility for business development and broker distribution. He has vast experience in working with UK brokers across the general insurance sector. Kevan believes building better, stronger relationships with our brokers are paramount to success.
Steve Barnett
Head of Broker Development
Steve has a talent for developing strong working relationships with his brokers; built on trust, good communication and excellent service. Steve was previously Head of Acquisitions for a broking group, before joining us in 2009. Steve has a family of three, and still finds time to play football.
Alex Smith
Operations Manager
Alex is the Operations Manager for our Huntingdon and Watnall offices. His focus is on ensuring that our teams work efficiently and effectively together to ensure our brokers enjoy outstanding client service. Away from work, Alex loves taking his dog on long walks, and playing golf whenever he gets the chance.
Keeley Betts
Head of Product Development & Underwriting Standards
Keeley is the Head of Trading for our Huntingdon office and has been with Jensten since 2006, with experience in a range of underwriting, product and trading roles. She is Dip CII qualified and has a wealth of Jensten Underwriting product knowledge.
Tim Smith
Underwriting and Product Director
Tim is the Underwriting & Product Director for Jensten Underwriting. Tim has 35 years’ experience in the insurance sector, with a special focus on schemes and binding authorities, from both a manufacturer and distributor perspective.
Emma van Vliet
Business Development Manager - North London, Home Counties, East Midlands, East Anglia and Oxfordshire
Emma has been with Jensten since 2010, with experience in a range of underwriting, product and development roles. She is Cert CII qualified and has a wealth of Jensten Underwriting product knowledge. Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends and can often be found out on long dog walks.
Lyndsey King
Business Development Manager - South West, South Wales, West Scotland and Northern Ireland
Lyndsey joined us in 2022, having worked in senior roles in both wholesale and underwriting where she managed a large portfolio of brokers. Her enthusiasm, attention to detail and pro-active approach make her incredibly popular with our brokers, who benefit from a confident people person with a can-do attitude.
Rachel Collier
Business Development Manager - North, North West, North Wales and the Midlands
Rachel joined us in 2019. Having covered most of the area for the last eight years, she is well known to her panel of brokers. She prides herself in building strong relationships and her tenacity to provide the best possible service shines through in everything she does. Rachel enjoys entertaining friends and family.
Paul Sullivan
Business Development Manager – North and Scotland
Paul joined us in 2023. He has over 30 years of underwriting, service and sales experience, previously working for RSA, AIG & Insure UK. He is married and has one daughter called Hannah. His hobbies include running, cycling & golf.
Melissa Cecil
Business Development Manager – South, South-East and London
Melissa joined Jensten in 2023 and has over 25 years experience working as a Technical Underwriter and 8 years as a Business Development Manager for a well-known MGA. Her methodology is GIRFT “get it right first time”. She loves time with her family, is a keen golfer and has a passion for touring Europe on her motorbike.
Danny Buxton
Business Development Executive
Danny joined Jensten in 2021, and has been working with Insurance Brokers for 14 years in roles ranging from Claims Handling to Legal Expenses. Danny works primarily with brokers based in the South, South East and London, offering support and guidance with Appetite Discussions & Portal Demonstrations.
Joanna Jackson
Business Development Executive
Joanna has worked within the trading teams for both Jensten Underwriting and Jensten London Markets and prides herself on exceptional service and is on-hand to offer support and guidance to our brokers. Joanna enjoys travelling, going to the gym, and spending time with her two border collies.
Aaron Connelly
Business Development Manager - South, South-East and London
With over 10 years' experience in the insurance industry, Aaron brings a vast understanding of how our brokers operate ad bring value to their clients. Aaron enjoys building longstanding relationships and is always available to discuss strategy and growth plans. In his spare time Aaron enjoys spending time with family and friends and squeezes in a round of golf whenever possible.
Mike Stockhouse
Business Development Manager - North, North East and East of Scotland
Mike joined Jensten in 2020. His can-do attitude makes him the perfect person to help brokers handle the challenges they face. With over 35 years of experience in both broking and the B2B world, Mike prides himself on building strong relationships with brokers. Mike enjoys travel, cooking and is a big Arsenal fan.
Dean King
Business Development Manager for the South, South East and London
Dean has been with Jensten since 2021. He previously spent many years in broker development roles at both insurers and MGAs. Having worked with brokers across the South, Dean has many strong relationships built on service and integrity. He is a keen golfer, has two young children and loves motorsport.
Dan Dart
Trading Manager
Dan joined Jensten in 2021, when the Group acquired Gresham Underwriting in Dartford. He is Head of Operations for the Bespoke Underwriting Division, overseeing processes, service and existing business functions in both areas. Dan likes to spend time with his family and coaching youth American football.
Mal Collins
Technical Manager, Existing Business
Mal has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, handling commercial property, liability, property owners, and commercial motor risks. Mal has had various roles within insurers, brokers, and MGAs. She’s knowledgeable in open market, schemes, and delegated authority.
